I'm intending to participate in this years NaNoWriMo, which is truly an excersise in creative and constructive insanity.
What is NaNoWriMo? national novel writing month. the object is to write a 50000 word novel in the month of november. yeah... that's precisely a minimum of 1667 words a day. sound impossible? it's not, in '08 2008: 119,301 people participated and 21,683 of them wrote the 50000 words.
yes i'm crazy, and I sugest no one gets between me and Lore in november....

Kael felt the pale, violet eyed man try something with the humans, and also saw that it evidently did not have the desired effect, as the humans turned for him, and he seemed incapacitated. [i] he must have tried something magic-based! doesn't he know nothing like that works up here!?!{/i] She screeched an owl's warcry and dove at the lead human, he talon's spread before her to rake him. He ducked, but she, acting in a way so uncharactaristic for a barn owl, had spooked them, and with just two more passes, they left, ducking phantoms. Kael then perched near the incapacitated man, hoping he'd recovered enough for her to try and persuade him to go south. She really wanted to be able to shift back to her normal form so she could talk!

Valdemar nodded, then hesitated for just an instant when a poster on a bus shelter made him see double. the heading on the poster: WANTED. He was talking to a wanted man. He saw the irony in the situation, but it failed to amuse him. "I'm now on my way to speak with the south side commander, if you wish you may accompany me in order to ask him about your friends." If he only came into the buildi ng with him, he could catch him neatly, removing one miscreant from the streets.

Maeve jumped when the in house phone rang. Answering it, she heard Kaden's frantic voice. "No problem," she said "hold on" she set the phone down and ran to houskeeping, where the water shut off was located. She shut it off and returned to the phone, "there, all taken care of. You alright up there? anything I can help with?" she asked.
Meaanwhile, quietly, as if in response to Kaden's unspoken wish a form was colescing in the shhadows behind him.

"I'd have thought the maniacal fiend would have been the easiest to find as well, but I haven't managed to find the slightest trace of him" he tone was thoughful and a bit mystified. She hid the slightest flinch when Riot suggested that she'd tried harder to find Curse than him, which was at least marginally true. She easily kept pace as he lengthened his stride, moving more quickly.

Riot nodded his wolfish head, "A town or city then. I would believe he wreck it from corner to corner before leaving it." He said. He turned to Val, seeing her change in direction and took steps to follow, but quickly moved his feet to stand beside her instead of behind.
He gave a raspy sigh, before glancing to the white wolf. "I felt I would have found him before you," He stated, recalling the almost countless times he found blue eyed women, or crossed paths with white wolves. Warcats he didn't see, they didn't seem native to this stretch of land he discovered, but tried to use it to his advantage at one point.
"But instead, he's hardest to locate. I imagine him quite frantic now..." Inwardly, the burgundy wolf was just as uneasy not having Curse with them as he felt the purple eyed Tyverlust was not being with them himself.
"I also imagine you've probably went through great lengths to find him before me, too." Riot, whether he was aware of the affectionate emotions between his packmates or not, (as he hid the knowledge well) didn't seem to mean it in that sense. His words could have easily meant that she prioritized her search and went to find the manic one before he got into too much trouble. Yet, it could have just as easily meant the former as well.
He shook his head, long strands for deep red and black shimmering, and also started to quicken his pace just a little more.
"But since we are together, it shouldn’t be as hard to locate him, since he will be the only one to find. We can’t fall too far behind, he moves quick!"

Wil saw the odd bird leading the humans astray.
Was the interesting creature trying to help?
Wil abruptly felt a familiar ping. That bird was the intelligent mind that he had not been able to detect. He was certain of it.
Wil started trailing the very humans he was fleeing from as they followed the owl. His curiosity was aroused. He wanted to know more about that bird.
But he wouldn't be able to communicate with it with those blasted humans around.
Wil considered getting rid of them. After all, it would take jsut one mind trick to send them away.
But his telepathy powers were not functioning as they should. It would be risky. He was curious what would happen if he attempted using them in his condition. It would be illogical, but it would also be logical to know his limits.
Wil stopped crawling and sat up. He concentrated and locked onto the minds.
He closed his eyes and took a deep breath.
The humans suddenly stopped following the bird and spun around.
"There he is! Over there!"
They ran the other direction enthusiastically.
Wil's eyes opened.
He realized how foolish he had been.
He heard nothing but the thoughts of the humans and that other mind. The voices screamed in his ears. He felt as if he was suffocating. Wil caught himself with one arm. He tried breathing slowly but found that he was already hyperventilating.
How flawlessly stupid of him.
His head pounded horribly and black dots appeared in front of his eyes. His stomach heaved and he vomited all over the underbrush. He kept heaving for a few moments before the nausea passed. Through his clouded vision, he noted blood dripping from his nose.

Kaden swore silently as he made his way up the stairs.
This must be the fourth bloody time I've repaired the sink in room 204. . . . .perhaps I should just install a new one. . . . He mused gloomily as he let himself into the room. There was no one about, only himself. He was alone, as was usual with his work.
He had been at the inn as their repair man for a fortnight now. His job was going smoothly and he hadn't run into any difficult duties. Darren was gracious, as was Maeve. They both respected him and he often found himself in their company.
Yes, this place was peaceful and an excellent resting point from his notorious travels.
But, still, he missed the thrill every now and then.
Give me a challenging sword fight over this damn sink, please, he begged silently to whomever was listening. Anything but having to repair this one more time. . . . .
Kaden lay on his back and examined the pipes cautiously. It looked as if the main one needed to be replaced or, at least, sealed more firmly than it had been the previous three times.
It's odd. I haven't seen a ghost since my first night here. . . . .I wonder where they all went. . . . .
Kaden took out a wench and started working.
In fact, it's so odd, that I wonder if the removal of that diary had anything to do with it. . . . .
Kaden looked at the pipe and decided that he might need to use a bit of magic, which would be irksome. But it was probably the solution.
I wonder where Nia and my grandfather went. Perhaps it has something to do with me. . . . .blast. . . .
Kaden's thought process was interrupted when the pipe burst, hard at that. He skillfully dodged the metal pieces, but ended up soaking. The floor swiftly ran with water. Kaden stood up and swore. He had better call the front desk.
Kaden dialed the number.
"Hello? Maeve? The pipe in room 204 burst. The water might start leaking through the floor. Could you possibly shut it off? I'm terribly sorry." Kaden finished, his voice guilt ridden and annoyed.

He nodded, glancing to the white wolf as he continued the run. "That is what I hope for. Someone will have something to say if he passed through." He said between pants of breath. "I'm sure that while he's creating strife for the unbeknownst, he'll attempt to leave a trail for only us to follow."
"I can only imagine what he's doing now." Muttered the large wolf as he gained speed again, to gain speed over a steep hill and stopped as he reached the top, gazing down at the view below, noting the land below them. They would have to get use to this land quickly if they wanted to find Curse. This part of the reincarnation process was also discouraging, getting use to whatever new world they were reborn in.
"The way I came from, I passed through woods with the vilest creatures in them. I do not believe I’ve been in this direction, lets see how far we go."
Riot looked back to Val, as to comfirm with her his decison, and also seemed to await her own input seeing as he didn't make a move just yet. He scanned the land again, creating a map within his head, like any male he didn't believe the slim chance they may be going in the wrong direction - but as subtly as he could wanted to make sure they were without having to admit to being lost.

She spat an epithet as he mentioned the pathetic vampire wench and the brainless looking muscle they'd ditched. "It shouldn't be too hard to find him, " she laughed, "the fuzz-head isn't the sort to lay low, he's more of a natural disaster. Follow the commotion and we'll find him alright." A hint of emotion in the white wolf's eyes however, belied the bluff confidence of her words. She was concerned by the lack of information of the purple-eyed fiend that their two separate searches had uncovered.

Riot kept charge of his running, his gold and red eyes studided the area around them as thoughts about of the arrangment of this land ran through his mind. He wanted first to make sure he was going the right way, but upon hearing Valinia's voice he slowed down as well, until he was a just beside her.
"First," He huffed. "We get as far away from those two as possible. I really don't want to be pestered anymore by their presence." He said with a slight sneer.
"Second, we find the closest village and we start looking for Curse. Only the Gods know what he has been doing without our eye, but hopefully, we'll pick up on his tracks."

Very tall, 6'3''-ish Personality: Surly, sardonic, a bit bristly. History; Was raised by ordinary people until he discovered he is from a village called Naigakure which was destroyed. who's inhabitants had a special magic. He left and returned many years later, rumored to have learned this magic. Magic: He makes zombies of past warriors out of the earth, they just sort of rise up out of the ground. It's a catch 22 though because the stronger the warrior the more of his energy they drain, but he is capable of raising something of a literal army. Forms: He can separate his soul from his body at which point he takes on an appearance a bit like one of his zombies. This form allows him to keep fighting even if he's reduced to so much as a pile of dust. Other In love with a young girl in her late teens who he once mentored in medicine and some fighting techniques. She's the only one that can boss him around whatsoever. Their relationship has not been declared by either, but both know about the others feelings.

Tari came back from her memories. She looked up to see if Val and Riot came back yet. SHe looked over to Gorin, he seemed to be quite quiet for some time. "I'm leaving. This is not a place for me to be at. Valinia is just to type to kill me if I make one wrong move. I'm not going to stand for that! But, then again if I end up fighting her, I have no allies, I'll be dead for sure. I have no allies here. Gorin is nothing to me. Do I have feelings for anyone? Do I have feelings for Gorin? What about Valinia? Who the hell is she to me? And Riot. He is nothing. I feel like I just want to kill them for some reason though I'm not quite sure why. I can't ever trust them. I'll let them live. I don't stand a chance with being their ally. I don't stand a chance fighting them. Gorin, do I like him? He is rather good looking, but he is not the type for me. I wonder if there is a home and a loved one out there for me. I only wish to live peacefully without fighting my way to live from the harsh abuse I take since I was young." she thought hard upon.
Tari moved away and grabbed a random bag that she saw. She hid into the trees, undressed herself and stuffed all her clothes into the bag. She placed it on her back and transformed into her totem. She ran towards back to the little campsite. She saw Gorin sitting there as if he was asleep. She was beginning to feel sorrow building up inside her. "Why should I feel sorry and upset?" Tari thought about for the last time before she left them. Tari licked Gorin on his hand, like a puppy trying to wake up it's owner. She rubbed her head against his arm, to show that she will never kill him if they met up again in any part of the future and if they ended up in a fight. "Gorin, I know you can't hear me but, I'm leaving. I'm not ment to be here, you are the only one that I care about out of the three of you people. You are like a brother I've wished to have. Take care, I love you dear brother." she said to him even though he may have been asleep and he does not understand her. Tari licked his cheek and went forward.
She ran away far from the campsite. She stopped and turned back then gave a loud sorrowful howl. She then sniffed the air to search for either food, water, or another place to be, away from the scent of humanoids. She headed course towards the long journey of salty sea. She could smell a very small whiff of the salty sea mixed in with the air.

Val's tongue lolled out in a grin as Riot took charge and they loped off away from the two that necessity had compelled them to partner with while each had been alone. she felt less than one atom of remorse at leaving the girl, she was a pathetic sap, but if Val was honest she probably wouldn't be with Riot right now without her aid. For a few leagues she ran quietly beside the demonic black wolf, but presently she slowed slightly and asked "What's the plan?"

Riot continued his search for food for the party back at the camp site. His nostrils flared as he inhaled for the scent of the various animals that resides in this region. Often time, however, he only found old tracks. Nothing, truly new to chase after. He let out a small huff, blowing the dirt wayward. Maybe he should have taken a couple of those fruits from the creatures back in Sweetbane. Then they would at least have a snack.
His ears swerved, and he rose to his tallest, his demon eyes locked on the direction of the camp.
He had realized something.
"Why am I hunting for someone else?" The questioned disgusted him more then it usually would, because he had no answer. It almost made him shudder. How low; he was out in these woods scratching at the dirt for food that he would end having to share with more then just his newly-reunited packmate. If he recalled correctly, he didn’t like either of them too much. Gorin wasn’t needed now that he had Val back with him, even if he did possess fine sword abilities. And the girl, Tari, he knew nothing about. If he wasn’t mistaken, Valinia probably didn’t care much for her either.
Those two would just have to starve, he was not about to share anything anymore.
They could spend this time searching for the last of their pack.
At the revelation, the burgundy wolf turned to catch the icy eyes of his she-wolf companion and with reckless abandon began a dash towards the female, skidding to a stop beside her.
"Stop this," He said, regaining a commanding tone. "We don’t hunt for the weak." He kept his tone toned orbs on the blue ones that occupied Valinia’s face, a wolfish smirk spreading across his muzzle.
"We have something else far better to do then this." Riot turned his head from here then, perking his ears to the opposite horizon and started that monstrous gallop. "Come! We have a trickster to find!"

I believe we should start a new thread for Val and Riot, perhaps in the middle of their ditching of Gorin and Tari. In fact, since its my post on the current Rp they're in, I'll initiate the running away and thus open up for the new thread.
But for Jaeger and Curse we should stick to the current thread since its only a few posts in and relatively easy to continue off of.
And Curse having a little friend to get in trouble with should be fun :3

"Well, all right. Yes, 3 times..."
"Three? Well, when were they?" he asked.
"Well, Sam, remember when you were 35 years old and you really wanted to start the business on your own and no bank would give you a loan? Remember, then one day the bank president himself came over the house and signed the loan papers, no questions asked?"
"Oh, Becky, you did that for me! I respect you even more than ever, to do such a thing for me. So, when was number 2?"
"Well, Sam, remember when you had that last heart attack and you were needing that very tricky operation, and no surgeon would touch you? Then remember how the doctor came all the way up here, to do the surgery himself, and then you were in good shape again?"

'What type of bra?' asked the clerk.
'Type?' inquires the man 'There is more than one type?'
'Look Around,' said the saleslady, as she showed a sea of bras in every shape, size color and material.
'Actually, even with all of this variety, there are really only three types of bras,' replied the salesclerk.
Confused, the man asked what were the types.
The saleslady replied 'The Catholic type, the, Salvation Army type, and the Baptist type. Which one do you need?'
Still confused the man asked 'What is the difference between them?'
The lady responded 'It is all really quite simple. The Catholic type supports the masses, the Salvation Army type lifts up the fallen, and the and the Baptist type makes mountains out of mole hills.

Oh, awesome! Glad you like it, that brings me some hope :3
I have so far only one solid college I'm looking at, Art Institute of Washington in Virginia, about a good 45 to and hour away from me. *is too afraid to go too far from home* But I'm looking for at least two other schools that might interest me that I wouldn't mind being maybe 2 hours away, ya'know.
From the name of the school, you can guess its just about art and for awhile I've been debating on what I wanted to do - I've came from Animation, Photography, Game Art and Design, Graphic Design and back again. Just today I've settled finally on Graphic Design and starting to fill out the rest of my Application. I already had two phone interviews by two representatives s while back - one from the one I'm interested in and the other from a branch up in Pittsburg.
I've already came out of a Drawing and Design art class so I guess that counts for some experience that I can use for the school and right now my art class if kind of like just free time for me to do some indiviudual projects so I can have a bit of a portfolio to show off :3
I'm also in an AP Art History class so that will surely help me out too.
But I'll give MU a look, if its as good as you say I wouldn't mind it.
Right now, I have to finish this ridiculous packet to actually get my transcripts to send to the schools. And when I say ridiculous I mean it, I think we're the only school in the county that has to do it, you have to answer all these questions, get your parent to do it, and then a teacher while all the other schools just have to fill out a sheet, pay the fee and be ready to go.
And noppers - Curse is with Valdemar in Valdepolis :3 I know Val and Riot are in the middle of a hunt since the last time we RPed with them, how about we have them ditch Gorin and Tari and start on their own little quest? Curse can get in a little bit of trouble in Valdepolis and when it seems like things getting a little bleek for the purple-eyed monster Val and Riot can save the day after getting a solid trail : D Hows that sound?

wow... that's a bit rough, good luck for this home stretch.... as far as college life... I'm absolutly positivly loving it! it's not all that scary, at least it wasn't here, but then Millersville is known for it's exceptionally good freshman program, so that didn't hurt. the work is a little harder, but not any more than your aps and probably less cause you have alot more time to do it all, you have 5 classes and most are 50 or 75 mins 2 or three times a week. the dorms, with just a little luck are nothing to fear, especially with freshman only dorms so you all start the year in the same, slightly alarmed place... lol. Yes, teaching's my plan, and i finally decided what, English, so i need to do the paperwork to declare it for fall. What are your plans for life or don't you know? i will add that you should apply to MU, just because i think you'd almost certainly be accepted, and Mu is cheaper than alot of schools while offering a simply astonishing array of majors.... us ED ppl are just the ones you here about. ok... ad over... lol so yeah, i'm loving college, and Mu is great, even if our colors do make us look more like bees than pirates.... lol and i'm rambling.... so, bringing the three together, curse is at the inn, val and riot are in the morphandor. hmmm. *brainfart* ummm... not entirely sure where to go from here....

Anyways, life has been treating me fairly I suppose, I've had an interesting year so far. But really, I think my senior year is by the far the worse of my overall highschool career D:
Boyfriends aren't fun when they break up with you two days AFTER V-day, school isn't fun when you've got 3 piling AP classes, your Literature teacher isn't cool when you're only hanging for a C in a class you NEED to pass and when you haven't paid off all your senior dues :/ Or finished any college/scholarship apps.
Yeah... I wish I was a junior again. Life was good then.
But, right now I'm piecing myself back together and making the best of what I got - in like two months I'll be out of here - right now I just gotta make sure I finish everything so I do get out of here XD
And how’s life as a college freshmen??? Is it scary like I think it is? Is the work hard and stuff? You wanted to be a teacher right? *hopes she remembers correctly*

I own everything about me -- my body, including everything it does; my mind, including all my thoughts and ideas; my eyes, including the images of all they behold; my feelings, whatever they might be -- anger, joy, frustration, love, disappointment, excitement; my mouth and all the words that come out of it -- polite, sweet and rough, wow gold correct or incorrect; my voice, loud and soft; all my actions, whether they be to others or myself.

Joshua returned to see Jae and wanted to see how she was doing. He was saddened that she just left the conversation. He enjoyed her presence when they were talking but she was no where to be seen. He bowed his head and knew that he had to let go and continue on his path for the rest of the journey. He was saddened but knew he had to leave.

Jae's brow creased as she tried to wend her way through the man's words to his meaning, bridling a bit when it seemed he implied that she did't know how to run her ship, but she realized that he almost certainly didn't mean it that way, and so she let it lie. "I can't say I entirely follow ye, but I kin see ye mean well. I'll think on what ye've said an' mayhap I'll speak wi' yer Da," she grinned crookedly, "but fer now, I wonder if ye'd like to spar." she patted her sheathed cutlass, "I could use th' practice, none o' me crew will take me challenges anymore." the company and conversation had turned her thoughts from the departed, and she was feeling the effect of two days without even half her normal activity level.

Hoshua simpathized for Jae for she was blind of the truth. like all men, she thinks that one can see truth but fails to see that truth is staring at her face everyday. Hoshua replied: "you feel free becuase you chose to live on a ship. You are correct on that matter but freedom is not of the physical sense, one can be enslaved by men or government and even prison. a free man or woman is one who wakes up knowing that the truth is staring at her becuase freedom is seeing the truth, not seeing the world as it is. A man free from government is not neccessarily free from his unknown future. We are free not of our ship or our homes or our crew but the truth is what sets us free."

Jae raised an eyebrow at him, she was begining to doubt the kindly man's sanity. He seemed to hear the clink of chains and see the gallow's ropes swing with every breath, and to her that attitude was quite forign. She was used to a rough sort of jocularity and general good humor coupled with a close kinship with those around her. The man's seemingly solitary existance, except for his mysterious father, struck her as alien and nonsensical. Sure a little solitude was nice occasionally, but she found that too much just gets a person down. She and her crewmates knew the dangers of their lifestyle and with a few exceptions, chose it anyway. It didn't do to dwell on something that may never occur, but nor did it do to try to forget. And above all, especially as captain, it would never do to forget or dishonor a fallen mate, be they the lowliest cabin boy, the most feared bo'sun or respected first mate.

The kindly fellow asked why she was flustered at such a small, yes rather large attrocity to her, but was flustered at something that did not needed to be fretted about. "My dear friend, events that crash your life do not need to be fretted about, though it is horrible, becuase events in our lives are much smaller then you think. I know someone who can deliver you from this malicious memory. remember how I told you about my father. Well, he can do things no one can really grasp but if you open your heart and simply listen you can hear him. Similiar to a man who silences himself, for he is able to hear the birds chirp and the wind blow and the rain beat on the rocks. You will be able to listen to his voice and ask him to hear your voice and he will listen". She was rather bewildered becuase know one can hear a voice if they cannot see it.
As she rebutted against his remark on being free with such certainty, he simply said this: "Are you sure you are free? From whom or what are you free? A free being is one can who love and be loved." He then added to her comment on govern: "You may be free from man's rule but are you free from uncertainty?" Freedom is knowing that. you are protected from harm that you can't handle and free from fear of consequence of that harm . let me ask you again, Are you free?"

He also was slightly angered becuase jaar did not even show any curiosity for his mission but realized that he must help her understand that there was someone who could be her guide if she needed to overcome her trials. He then asked, "who was this ship that attacked you?"
After this, he looked at the ground and started to tear up, he wondered why no one had any care for his wonderful gift that was given to them but realized that his father had a purpose for his son to be in this inn. The man asked, "Dear friend, do you want to be free?"

He said to her: "A king does not have to be in manifest but of existence of the inner self. My people were forced to live a certian due to the fear of death, but a spirit who ruler among the living abused them by forcing to fear so he had them do things to themselves and others becuase my father could not intervene. My father saw our people suffer so then asked his kingdom who would come down to free his people from this torture among the manifest. I freed my people from, men and women from starvation, depletion of a full life, desperation, suffering and the king of torment and death. My people were enslaved by a being who disrupted people and wanted to destroy them simply out of despise, I had to walk among my people and lead them out of slavery. that was my ship wreck becuase I had to give myself to the king of darkness so I could see my people walk free to live a good life."

He felt saddened becuase the society that she was a part of never educated her. He asked, "Have you not been educated in my ship wreck in my life?, Do you not know what I faced many of years ago?, after all, I felt like my chip sank becuase my father asked me to do something that I was dearly afraid of" You are aperently ignorant of my ship wreck, is that correct?"

He looked at the ceiling and tried to extrapolate his ideas into words that not discomfort her so he told her: "My family is much larger then usual, many men and women who are my brothers and sisters have sailed these seas many of times." Jae just stared. Then a slightly odd smile came over her face, "Ye've never sailed then I take it?" she asked. "then have ye ever been part o' some group, one tha's like unto yer family?" she persisted, leaving his question unanswered for the nonce, she had to see if his experiences had ever run close enough for him to comprehend, even as that mysterious, and slightly disconcerting, aura around him urged her to jump right into the tale.

When she asked this question, everyone questioned what the sea was but Hoshua some how knew. He never has ever seen this sea but could sense the presence of this sea thus knowing what this sea was and what it was. He told them of name, namkagare. Everyone was astonished and asked how he knew the name of this peculiar sea. He simply said, "just ask my dad", he will tell you. Aftet this slighlty profound event, he then continued by asking the lovely woman what bothered her. "What is the matter my dear friend?".
